Schedules for 2012 include:

This Basic Firearms Safety Class is a four hour course and is required to secure your Concealed Carry Permit in Virginia will be offered at the Richmond International Raceway during the Richmond Gun Show in Richmond , Virginia. 

February 4th and 5th.

March 24th and 25th,

August 25th and 26th,

November 10^th and 11th,

All of these RIR Classes start at 11am and end at 3pm . All classes are held on the second floor. Please plan on being on site and check in with the staff 15 minutes prior to the class to insure a seat. Fee for this class Home Firearm Safety will be $65 per student advance reservations are recommended and class size is limited based upon space. This class is a four hour one day training session.  Advance Class registration will be accepted by email to RGHartley@learn2shoot.us or call 804-852-0053 to reserve your seat.

Payment will be accepted with cash, check, or money order. To lock in your seat at a class please email your request for a reserved seat to rghartley@learn2shoot.us . Payment will be by cash, check, or money order on by the day of the class. Remember class size is limited so make your reservations in advance. Walk in is acceptable on the day of the class, based upon availability of seating and materials. This class is also accepted for a Virginia and Florida CCH Permit.

 Are you seeking to learn how to shoot a firearm in a safe way? Are you considering securing a Concealed Handgun Carry Permit for your families and your protection?  Are you seeking the knowledge to understand how to handle a firearm safely? We can show you how to handle firearms in a safe and correct manner. We will also advise you how to secure your permit upon successfully completing one of our training courses. 

 The proper training in use of firearms and firearms safety is our prime goal. Our instructors are Certified NRA Instructors with countless years of combined training and experience in the Public, Military, and Law Enforcement Communities. It is our goal to serve honest and law abiding citizens with the best training for both firearms safety, personal protection, and the shooting sports.

 We offer you our knowledge and NRA Certified Training Courses along with specially designed courses that will meet your needs in today’s ever changing environment. Courses include: Home firearms safety, basic pistol, advanced pistol, pistol first steps and personal protection courses. Courses can be added to include the basics of drawing from the holster and proper equipment selection. We will work with you one on one or in small group settings, and will also guide you in selection of the right firearm for your families and your protection.

We are not firearm dealers. We do not design or sell holsters. We are not tied to any manufacture of firearms or any specific dealer. However, we do know what quality equipment is available and will make suggestions as to what to purchase in a safe, quality and proven product. We have no bias and can accompany you to an appropriate licensed FFL dealer for proper equipment fit and selection. However, we do recommend honest and upright firearms dealers that we have had prior dealings and experience with.
